Not to mention informing people if you are intending to arrange a shuttle service from the venue to various hotels at the end of the night. If the journey between ceremony venue and reception venue is a short one then this is a no frills, practical way to transport up to 53 guests.
If however the journey is quite long, we would advise hiring an executive coach with on-board facilities such as a toilet, entertainment facilities, PA system and comfortable seating. Ensuring your guests arrive in a calm and relaxed fashion, ready to celebrate with you. We would also suggest thinking about food and drink if you are asking your guests to embark on a longer journey. One of our customer service advisors will be happy to make suggestions and ensure that you are provided with a coach where consumables were permitted.
Routemaster Double Decker, Heritage or Classic Bus
Vintage style weddings are becoming increasingly popular and perhaps you would like your transport to be a continuation of the theme of your whole day. Or perhaps regardless of the tone of your wedding, you would like your guests to have a journey they will remember. If style is what you’re after then we highly recommend a double decker bus (and as they can carry up to 75 passengers they’re unbeatable for transporting larger numbers of guests) a heritage or a classic bus. Your guests will revel in the nostalgia and have a journey to cherish as they make their way to the reception.
Perhaps you would like to provide a shuttle service for your guests with a two hour window, from say 10pm until midnight, giving the guests the opportunity to leave at their leisure. This is a great way to help your guests relax and enjoy your wedding without the ‘who’s driving?’ arguments or the stress of calling taxi’s at midnight. We can supply a mini coach which is ideal for transporting smaller amounts of people over a longer period.
